IRoc build up part 1

For those of you who havent read my previous post "new car, very impressed", i just bought a 86 Iroc for my brothers 15th birthday so that we could have a project, he has a year until he can drive it so we are trying to make it run 13's by then, last week it ran a baseline 15.0, I added the edelbrocke headers wednsday and also ditched the cat for a 3 inch pipe in its place, I went to the track tonight and after 3 runs ran a 14.71 @95, it should have been better but the back right tires were a little bald because I was trying to teach my brother how to drive this week, so I think it should have been an even 14.6, theres only two bolt ons on the car and he can almost smoke my RS which has costed me a ton of money, it will probably be a while until we mod it again unless I find a real good deal on something. Well just wanted to let eveyone know .

Since you still have a year, unless you are going to swap to a bigger engine, you should find time to get rid of the peanut cam that came in the 86s. Since it is not a roller cam, it is inexpensive and would make a nice improvement.
Keep up the good work!
