last night in the vette i bought some new goodyear F1's and a K&N Air Filter. so i decided to cruise down Ritchie for awhile and low and behold i run up on a WRX that had track #'s and on the back in shoe polish "All Motor" ( i though these things were turboed maybe it meant no upgraded turbo or nos?!?!) and his name and his girls name..... awwww:lala:

i get up to him a light and look over and see if he was willing to go. light turns green and i launch hard spinning up thru 3500 rpm in 1st launching pretty hard. well he didn't go. we get to the next light i give him a rev this time and he revs back. light turns green we ease off the line to 5mph and nail it. i pulled out 1 car length right off hit 2nd gear and pulled out a 1/2 car more upto 70 mph never shifting in 3rd and let out. we get to the next light and i talked to him asking what it runs at the track. he said low 13's. he turns off and i cruise and hook up with some friends and ran up on a Neon SRT in the parking lot. the guy didn't want to run me from a dead dig but said next time we hook up we'd go from a roll. i can't wait he said it cranks out 15 lbs of boost and handles pretty damn good. we shall see

today i seen a ZR1 :hail: in a gas station and talked to the guy for a good hour. this is the first one i've seen on the road and not at the track around my area. real cool guy we are gonna hook up and go to the track some time. he said he'd let me wheel it he's a fed cop. had his gun and vest in the car and let me check out the car sitting in it while he talked on the cell phone....lol

all in all felt good having the vette out and about since she been down for close to 6 weeks

last year was 14.2 with a 2.04 60' @ 99 mph. with a 2.59 gear it's hard to launch the car good.

i did some basic mods like the TB bypass a K&N cut out air lid an air foil and descreened MAF.

doing the cat back in a few weeks and i got a eldebrock big mouth lower intake, SLP runners and another plenum all ported ready for a 52 mm TB. also got a hayden tranny cooler just need to get the stall and transgo then thats going in.

just need the new roller cam, roller rockers, roller lifters, 52 mm TB, 2800 stall and transgo kit and i'm hoping for high to mid 12's chipped. then i'm thinking on putting a 150 shot on her
