Highway civic racing fun....
Ok well friday i was going home to missiouri and decided that my life would be a bit easier (because of labor day traffic) to leave after work (about 11pm once fully packed and gassed). I am now cruiseing down the 355 tollway and i see the same black riced out EX civic that i saw at the toll booth coming up behind me in the lane to my left. Well, being that i was in for a long (and quiet with no radio) i decided to play. He got up next to me and i am running around (what my speedometer says, which is ruffly 7mph off at this speed) 75-80mph. So i punch it and she drops to 3rd and starts to pull on him. Now he wasn't on it, but as i slowed back down and got next to him again i heard his fart tip scream. Now was fun time. He got the jump, but i still actually managed to pull and had a couple lengths by about 100mph (again refer to my messed speedo). I slowed down at this point since there was traffic up ahead and it was a holiday weekend and i had seen plenty of cops. As he goes by his girl flips me the bird and sticks out her tounge while he goes by and proceedes to weave in and out of traffic. Deffinantly one of the highligts of that trip since i spent most of the trip driving in the dark, both before and after my 3 hour nap at a rest stop. The RS may have gotten the ugly end of the stick when it came to poweplants and gears, but she still shines occasionaly.

I figured i would be neck and neck or maybe a bit behind seeing as how the EX does get a single overhead cam v-tech motor rated at something like 150hp or so. With a stick and at speed, i would have figured something a bit closer. Oh well.
*edit* never mind did some research, they only get 127hp on the single cam 1.6 vtech. Makes more sense now.

Good kill. Our cars may not have the best engines ever, but they have even worse ones. I love beating up on those Civis, because for now that is about all I can beat

Nice one! I thought civics were supposed to have all this top end power. High powerband and what not. Hah hah, its always better when they have a girlfriend in the car.

Yea, they are supposed to
I've beaten modded vtechs from 60 on because of my cam. The only good thing i see from them is good gas mileage.
