Raced an S2000

I was coming home from work the other night, doin the usual prowl for ryce, when I see super blues about half a mile behind me, so I go ahead and turn at my usual turn, and the car follows, I look back to see an S2000, well I go ahead and pull up to the light, the punk in the 2000 come rollin up beside me and revs to like what sounded like 10,000rpms. Well it had been raining and I figured I'd go ahead and race since his was a rwd too, so when the light turns green, we both gun it, we both spun hard off the line, I pull ahead by maybe 1/4 of a car, then he hits second and starts to pull on me, by this time we are going about 60 and we blow through a red light, we race all the way up to about 110(when I let off anyways), he beat me by about 3-3 1/2 cars, I thought those cars were faster than that, but I guess that's a Honda for ya!!!

sounds like some stupid fun. racing in the rain isn't too bright. neither is running red lights.

street racing is fine as long as you are being safe about it.

you shouldn't post that kind of stuff dood....not cool.

Driven by a good driver, they are pretty quick, my friend ran a 13.87@101 with his parents. But most are in the low 14's, some mid 14's at around 99-100. They are fast from a roll as long as you are in the right gear and above 6500rpm already. I have driven his parents and it moves, but if you are in the wrong gear from a roll it is dead until you get past 6500 and the VTEC comes on. They do pull hard though...all the way top 9500 shift point. Still pretty sweet for a 4cyl.

Ive beat by those, and Ive beaten those, depends on how hard they launch...racing in the rain:nono: , running red lights in the rain what if your mother and sister were coming home from soccer practice or what not and you hit them?! BTW Ive done it before, so I cant be too big a hippacrit(sp?)
