Modded 5.0 went down, but did i win?

I raced a guy tonight that had a 89-91 5.0. He had ram air, headers, flows, mild cam, all MSD ign., MAF, and a 5-speed. We raced 3 times from a dead stop and i beat him all 3 times b/c he couldnt drive. I have a 91' GTA LB9 A4 with KN, Flows, !CAT, !EGR, TB Bypass. His car was much faster but he couldnt drive it. I did beat him all three times but was it considered a win b/c he couldnt drive? I know he was faster b/c we raced a 4th time from a 30mph roll and he pulled on me in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, but i made up every time he shifted. So are them still considered wins?

When you might say to someone "oh I beat so and so," noone ever asks you "how?" If you catch my drift.

Part of racing is driver skill, if the driver has no skill and looses because of that when he has the (most likely) faster car, then it is still a win for you. If you can't drive the power who cares if you are faster, you are still gonna loose.

Thats a win, and the reason I hate racing from a roll, it takes away most driver skill. We all know the driver can make or break the car!

It's a win in my book. A low 12 second AWD Talon smoked a 10 second fox body mustang at the local racing spot last night. Why? Because a mustang that traps at 126mph doesn't hook too well on the street with 17x9 cobra R wheels and dead tires. Not to mention the inexperienced driver. This all once again proves that anything can happen on the street. Good kill!

You won... racing is all about driving... I know these are real cars, but theres an old saying the the R/C car racing world.... "20% car, 80% driver"
