n e one with an 85 5.0 tpi (l98cam) have problem with tipuron gtv6 6 spd?????????????

Ehhh, depends on the tune of the IROC. The L98 cam is an improvement. It would help alot if the IROC had exhaust. I know exhuast really helped my old IROC.
To get down to it, if the IROC is in good tune, and has some decent tires you will pull out of the hole decently(benefit of TPI torque), then once you get to the end of the 1/4 he might start pulling back on you. I think that the new v6 Tibby is like mid/low 15sec car. Not bad, I really dont know how good the aftermarket for the car is. But since you do have a cam, I would say that you will win.

ya, not like id bother with one of those cars but i drove one the other day at a dealer pretending to want to buy one LOL , it was a 5 spd version not the 6 spd but still GT v6 and i thought it was fast but not like my trans am, My trans am only has 41K on it now with dynomax cat back /converter accel ignition and BM shift kit, i doubt id have much of a problem with one just thought id get everyone elses opinion..
