It's a co-worker's car, he also has a '00 SS 6-spd. Anyway, we raced last week from a roll and he pulled a car and a half on me from 20-70. So we caught a light after work yesterday and went on green. I pulled out to a 3 or 4 car lead and shut down at about 90. The Eclipse has a bigger turbo, boost controller, BOV, and a couple other minor mods. Dyno'd 241 HP at the wheels last month without tuning. He's still running the factory wheel and tire combo so I know I'm going to get owned once he gets it tuned and finds some traction. Time to put some more money in the Z.

 

your friend must not know how to drive. my friend as an 1996 gst, 16g turbo, fmic, bov, and exaust, and on pep boys tires ran a 12.9. i hope he didn't dyno that low with those mods. that means from the mods he only gained like 30 h.p. you should have taken him on launch but after 2nd gear he should have pulled you in hard.
