Allright, heres the lowdown:

This Friday, Im taking both my Camaros to the local 1/8th mile track. MY 92 RS, well its been documented on here a few times before, but here it is anyways:

1992 RS LO3 TBI
Flowmaster 80 Series muffler
open element air cleaner
Smog delete
ACCEL Header plugs, ACCEL SuperStock 8mm wires, and ACCEL Dist. cap/rotor button
3 inch side vented cowl hood
B&M TrickShift tranny fluid
Fan switch

The best times this car has ran is 10.38@68.89MPH Other than the listed mods, thats it. Its peg leggin' nowdays with just at 100k miles on it. OK, heres my other car:

82 Camaro Berlinetta T-top
Bone stock

Yeah its a stock 305 LG4, all a/c and Smog still on, sadly enough. Anyways, Im just going out to see what kind of passes it makes stock and to see where it stacks up against my RS. It is rumored to have a Posi traction rearend but not sure. I bought it and had to put my extra 700R4 and a doghouse from my old 85 Berlinetta on it. So, basically, which car will do u think will win. The other driver is my cousin and he knows how to race, even though hes never raced at a track before he used to have a v8 s10 and other numerous hot rods, so driver capabilities are mostly the same.

In the first race, im driving the RS while my cousin is going to be drving the t-top. the second race we swap cars and then the third race im going to take the t-top up against an 87 IROC 350 TPI thats best pass is 10.24.....MY RS has come within a car of beating this TPI at the track.....the TPI dude has always called my little RS weak but I think it runs pretty good considering its hanging pretty close with a car that has 45 cubic inches and a direct port injection setup, while i run measly LO3 heads and a wimpy cam. Anyways, any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

My 1/8 time yesterday was 9.94 @ 70.61 (converted to sea level conditions) with a 2.25sec 60', and I have a 305TPI with minimal mods. I'd say his car is running quite slow for some odd reason. Maybe he needs to learn how to launch

The LO3 should take the LG4, the L98 should take the LO3 even tho he is running pretty slow times for what he has. Is it an old tired motor or something?

I don't see how the L98 is running that slow...but hey, a race is a race. If the LG4 beats the Lo3, I'd be pretty surprised too.

No his motor is only like a little over a year old. He just cant race plus his exhaust is all stock except for the autozone muffler and big tips. I guess it all relied on the driver in that case. I keep telling him I can drive his car and take it into the 9's but he said its impossible. You really think the LO3 will take the LG4? Wow, now thats pretty crazy. I havent got to race them because my transmission is giving me no end of trouble in the t-top. I have a topic posted in the transmissions postings, if u would mind reading it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
