Some fun nights for 1/8 and 1/10
Went to the local track here to run the car to see if I could improve on the times but someone ran over the sensors and basically messed them up and so no times were given. I was pretty bummed but still paid the $7 to race.
Well first race of the night was against one of the new guys to the club. He has a 87 Camaro with a LG4 in it. Flowmaster muffler, Performance Products dual plane intake manifold, a K&N and a MSD 6AL box w/Accel Distributor. Raced 2 times and pretty much hammered him by at least 5 cars. Great guy through, if you are out there Patrick it will only get better bud!!!
Next race was against a Integra an older 90-91 model. Not very fast and beat him worse than I beat Patrick.
Next race was with a Lincoln Mark V. Kid was talking big...said he had a multi angle cam??? What the hell is that? Whatever. Got him from the get go and pretty much stayed ahead by 2 car lenghts.
Next was another fellow club member with a 6 speed 2002 WS6. Hahahaha KILLED......he killed me of course, lol. No BS here damn LS1's :hail: LS1. Oh and he is stock and running 13.0's here with a cut out, Tornado fan. He is in the 12's sealevel wise.
Sunday night is open street racing here in El Paso at Desert Demons. No times just a pro light and thats it.
Raced only 2 times because the line to race gets wayyyy to big. Raced another club member with a 78 Z28 with a 300hp crate motor, Flowtech afterburner headers, Comp Cam I forget which one and 3.42 gears.
first race he slept a little on the line and I got the lead and didn't look back. Win by 1 1/2 car lengths.
Last race of th night with him again. I slept a tad and I still got him off the line but in the end his top end was too much for the LB9 and he caught up at the end and got me by 1 car lenght(just about and pullling.
So all in all a good couple of nights for me. I do need help in the top end department other than that the low end is dependable. Bye

The best I have done at the other track, we have 2, is 14.9@93mph. At the track we were at I had the same ET but with a 92mph. He has hit a best of 14.8's. I am betting that he hit somewhat better than that on our second pass.
