Wow it would be close! Those two set-ups are almost identical. I will go for the carb set-up over the stealth ram because chances are when you get it fired up it will take awhile to get the tune down. The carb will be running at its peaks in the shortest amount of time. That is unless the stealth ram set-up will be dyno-tuned/WBO2 by then.

pcmforless has my custom chip coming...they claim it will be tuned as good as your gonna get it without doing dyno tuning...the chip will be here before i fire it up..so its gonna be tuned right away....i also think its gonna be a real close one, i got a bit more lift but he has a bit more duration...

Like Shifty said, its gonna be seriously close! Those Dart heads flow like hell and I love them. My buddy has a set in his 79 Camaro and they are just plain bad ***.

You have a tad higher lift on the cam, which will open those valves more and give you more power. also, you've got high rear end gears and a stall to compliment it. The 400 RPM difference in your 2 stalls wont make much of any differance. If you are tuned right, you'll win because your suspension will help you on the launch.

This all depends on launch really. If you both launch good, i think youll pull ahead and win. But its all gonna rely on the launch really. Ill give this race to you but it depends on tune, launch, and driver skills. Good luck and let us know the results!

yes i also agree on the launch...and this is a good buddy of mine and we've talked abotu suspension parts and he really isn't to interested in hearing about it...his solution was to throw a set of drag radials on there and be done with it..he hasn't gotten them yet, but who knows we'll see...he has a stock rearend and like i said a little bit lower gears, and hes gonna be pushin about 400 horses, so i'd like to see how that rearend holds up if he does throw some drag radials on there..i know those dart heads flow rediculously amounts of air, but it doesn't really matter with that cam he is using...that came isn't taking full advantage of those heads anyways....my lift will be .543 after yotu take into consideration the 1.6 ratio rockers, and i did that just because i wasn't portin them, so i figured if i ran higher lift it would make up for the difference..i hope it works out for me...but i'll let you guys know the results when we line em up...i pretty much accepted the fact i was gonna loose a while back, but now that our cars are coming together, i'm feeling more and more confident..but like i said he is a good friend, so it doesn't really matter who wins and who loses....and we both are gonna have 12 second cars, and that would make us owning the fastest cars in highschool
