another theoretical quetion
ok i have 2 cars to ask about. first ill tell you about mine. i have a 1989 lo3. with an 700r4. car is in pretty good tune.
first car: 1994 3.4l camaro. the car is gutted. its got a k&n cone filter in place of the stock air box. it also has a glasspack exuast and cat is cut off. its an auto.
second car: 1994 3.8l mustang auto. it is bone stock.

Mustang - Those cars are total turds. Even slower than their GT relatives and I never thought that was possible
Seriously, launch well and you'll win this one by a few cars minimum. I used to ***** pre-05's in my LO3...bone stock indeed 
Camaro: Itll give you a run for your money but in the end, you should pull out the victor......
Get the holeshot is what matters. LO3's have the low end torque to their advantage. Launch good and dont spin and youll win both.....then go home and blueprint a bigger motor like 350+ cubic inches to drop in there

just making sure..but the guy with the 94 camaro is my best friend. i acctully help him pay for his car and his goal is to eventally beat me.

i have the LO3 too and i always used to race my bro with his '95 camaro with the 3.4. his only mod was a flowmaster muffler. i beat him every time. (now he has a '94 with an LT1/T56 and i dont even try

tell me about it, i was bitching about the plugs on my car (air tubes, ect) then i went to help out a friend with an lt1, i opened the hood, looked, shut it and said "your on your own."
