I've been away at school for a few weeks now and came back last night and took my car out for a spin. Figured this is the last weekend I'm going to get to play with my car until next spring.

Ended up racing what looked like an older RX-7. The late 80s body style. We were messing around a little bit waiting for the traffic to open up (it was 1230AM) and then finally it did and we got next to each other and went from a roll of probably around 35-40 or so to probably 70 or 75. I don't have a speedometer so I'm guaging it off of RPMs, etc. He went first, but I reeled him in quick and passed him very quickly. I haven't a clue as to whether it was turbocharged or not. I thought I heard one, but I blew by him pretty easily.

Then I was driving aruond and saw all the Mustangs going the other way, so I turned around and ended up being by an 89-93 Foxbody with a blower. I kept trying to get him to look over at me, if anything just to tell him nice car. I wanted to line up next to him at a light and get some info out of him about his car, but he wouldn't even look over at me. Driver was probably in his late 30s, figured he wouldn't waste time with a teenager. No doubt the car was quicker than mine though I'm sure.

Anyways, while trying to mess around with him I came up to an LT1 Z28 with a younger kid in it that I figured would race. We lined up at a light. Neither of us went off the light right away. I don't like doing that unless I know they're racing. Otherwise it makes me feel like an idiot, lol. So we both go slow off the light and hit it and I pulled probably 2-3 cars on him by the end of 1st gear, which is where we let off or so. Not sure if auto or stick.

Went out of my way for that race, so I turned around to come back home. On the way, there was a late 90s Saab. I'm not good with their model numbers, it could have been a 900 or a 9-3, I don't know. It was definitely turbocharged though, was able to hear it when we were messing around a bit. He was definitely stick. We raced 3 times. The first two we came up on traffic, and when I'd slow down quick right away, he'd slow down and stay right with me, so I knew he wanted to race wide open. We got around a few more cars, got next to each other, looked over, and went. I pulled on him without much struggle, probably 1-2 cars by the time I wound out 2nd gear. 5700rpm or so in 2nd gear puts me just under 90mph. Definitely gave me the best race last night though. Quick little car.

I'll probably go out again and see if I can find anything tonight before I retire for the season.
