wasn't expecting this...

My friend calls me up and says, "my dad got a camaro and he wants to race you", so i went and checked it out. It was a 1984 Z-28 with a 305 H.O, and a 5-speed. He wanted to race me for $50, and i was sure i was going to lose so i said no i'll just race for the hell of it. So we get to our spot and line up and go. I took him off the start and i kept the lead from there, he gained ground and was side by side for a while but he couldn't keep up...I guess i shouldve raced for the 50.

Im pretty sure it was an L69 since they said they were side by side. L69 5 speed cars run 15.2-15.3, and with his mods, and gears im sure he could keep up. Nice job!

Sounds like your friends dad expected to spank you...

I have a feeling he's going to be in the market for upgrades soon...

I think he will mod too. Older guys hate getting beat by younger people.

Good run!
