Ok, i got an 86 T/A not Stock motor, its got a 77 chevy 350 in it, and My Brothers got a 85 montecarlo SS 305, im just wondering Who would win, i know i will but... Why not just Ask

Well whats the point of asking if you know you would win? But the race would depend on if he had any upgrades, weights of the cars, transmissions, and gear ratios. Your not stock 77 350 is not an improvement if your car had a 350 to begin with. A tpi set up will out perform an old 350 with a stock 4 bbl carb on it. Plus, the 77 motors were heavier than a 86 350s.

1977 350 is prolly worn out as ****... Not to mention those were not the glory days of performance, about 20 years too early....

You could have a 77 350 doorslammer, or you could have a smogged out pos.. we need heads/cam/intake specs for both cars, as well as transmission and final drive ratios to really give you an estimate.

I agree. If you have a 140 smogger 350 than his L69 305 will own you.
