Race Night
After last weekend I found out where everyone meets up to go racing. Supposidly there is this 99 Z28 that talks all kinds of smack, and claims to have beat everyone in this town. Says do not bring a muctang here cause I will smoke him.......lol. So my boss at work has an eclips that has 659hp to the wheel and it is AWD. He was going to come out there, but once I got there....I found that the Z28 was not a Z28, rather it was an RS with a modded 6 banger.....lmfao. And yes the dude talkes crap all the time. So anyways reast of night goes like this.
L98 vs the RS:
We line up we get flagged and we go. Learning from last weeks mistake about not launching and losing to the cobalt.......I now launch everytime....lol. Anyways I launch and of course I get 2-3 from the start, and just keep going from there. Heck I don't know how many I was ahead but I let off before the finish line cause it was getting ugly.
L98 vs Cobalt SS again:
Last week I did not have my DR's on, but this week....different story. We race and from the get go I get 3-4 cars on him, and this time I kept on pulling on him fo about 5 cars, last week he gained on me....but this time he didn't.
L98 vs V8 Lexus:
We line up, we get flagged and we are off. I hooked up great and started to pull him, then my tranny was hot and would not shift into second, so he gained back. I lifted for it to shift and then pulled 2 cars on him, and when I shifted into 3rd (drive) I gained another car then we let off. That car has mods and was pretty quick.
The race of the night belonged to my new friend with his GT350 vs a built eclipse. The eclipse claims 450fwhp.
GT350 vs Eclipse:
I line them up and I flag them, the Stang takes off like a bat out of hell and isntantly gets 3-4 cars. Once the eclipse gains tarction, the stang still kept pulling on him. Ended up winning by at least 6. This time the go from a 50mph roll (they agreed 1 from dig and one from roll) they take off and are side by side, but then the eclipse starts pulling him and gets maybe 3 cars on him at the finish. Eclipse was pretty cool, but I do not believe it was a 450hp car.
All in all we had fun and was victorious in our races, but I tell you what....we (Justin with the GT350) and I were the only ones their with real power.....everyone else just thanks they have power. Wish we had more competition in this town........lol Good ol American Muscle.....can't beat it.
