If you are on a track the Thirdgen will win.
If you are on the streets then you both are losers.... Period.

The CRV is a 17-18 second SUV. The HO 305 thirdgen if it is a true HO is a 15 second car with the right driver.

This is kind of a funny thread but I will put my two cents in anyways. The first motor I had in my monte was a 305ho and it ran 15.5 stock at the track. My girlfriends mom has a cr-v and there is no way in hell the cr-v would have ever kept up with my monte stock and the camaros are usually .2 tenths faster then the montes just because of weight.Camaros with the 305ho and a stick will regularly get into the low 15s if the driver can drive and the motor is still in good condition.
