89 2.8l vs 98 honda accord

As it sits, both cars are bone stock. No mods on the accord as far as I am aware.

Heres the story...

Some kid at my school in this accord always tries to race me. Pulling up next and revving, always passing me and staying right beside me, You know, really trying to get a race. I never race since hell, Its a **** stock 2.8l.

What do you all think, Would I win, or lose? Say I had a cold air and high-flow exhaust, then would I really win? If its any help, I also have a 5 spd in my car, his car is auto.

Is the accord a coupe or 4 door?It depends on what engine his car has they came with 130hp and 150hp 4 cylinders and a 200hp V6.I would say if it is a 4 door with a 4 cylinder you'd probably win but against a coupe you would lose.Good luck and be safe.

Pretty sure its a 4cyl. Its a 4 door. I think I could win...After I get my exhaust and intake put on I think I'll take him on his offer. wish me luck!
