There is a huge trash talking sentra here where i live. I think he even had a sign that says V8 is slow

He has a sentra not sure of the year that is completely gutted, even the rear seats are gone. It is turboed with full bolt ons

i have my 305 z28 with full exhaust and headers, TPI, and maybe 100 shot NOS coming this summer.

So who do you think would win in a dig and a 40 mph roll?

 

Depends on how much boost he's throwing at it. Figure that out and you'll know. Also I'd think that 100 shot could be a make it or break it move for you.

Just remember you've got the torque, he's got the horsepower. Torque, IMHO, is what matters. And if he's only running 9 psi he's probably get you matched for HP if not less. I think you could walk him any day. 100 shot would just embarrass him. Around here the imports that brag deserve to because they're all close to or well over 18 psi. Which is why I asked. I'd put my money on you.

Make it = winning with nitrous
break it = losing because of no nitrous

V8 all the way! And it depends on the driver. Plus it may get you of the line till the v-8 kicks in and then passes it in top end! If its a 4 cylinder your the boss but a 6 cylinder is iffy? The 8 cylinder will have a higher top end speed.

 

hate to say it but he's got a nice power to weight ratio in that thing. buddy of mine has one thats kind of quick bone stock w/ 5spd. If its from a dig it should be in your favor.
