Well, thought he would pull me, my car is a 89 RS, stock LQ4 with Trex cam with moser 12 bolt, 4.30 gears, T56 carbed with suspension, the 91 GT was cammed, TFS twisted wedge heads, victor intake and a 150 shot with a T5 and a 3.73.
Was a heads up race from a 40 roll, he only pulled me a touch when i shifted and i would pull back even every time shifting at 6500, rev limiter was at 6600, so if i upped the limiter to 7000 i might have been able to get a actual fender on him.
I am impressed with this damn 6.0 for what i have into it, i say hell with my old motors when it comes to price.

Thats sweet man, I love a real close race like that! And yea, the Gen III's are unbeatable for the HP per dollar ratio. I can't wait to get my turbo 5.3 together and in!!

Well, i say ti was a draw, but if the rev limiter was up, i think i woulda edged him out. I am going to procharge the other 6.0 i have eventually, but for now i am going to try and get the fuel system complete and spray the GT at the track on a rematch, him on 2 kits, me on a single stage and MURDER. LOL

So a heads/cam 5.0 with a 150 shot could barely keeps up with a stock LQ4? I love it!!!! 







Stock with a cam and carb conversion, yep. 6.0 is no punk, i thought since it was low in the compression department the big *** cam would be held back but...nope.
