Heading to my bank on Sunday I notice this white gta get behind me. I said to myself "hmm, probably an L98". So I have my car in 4th gear around 3k and gun it a little to play and he blows past me! I then realized this was no ordinary T/A. So I got behind him at a light and saw dual exhaust and a turbo emblem. We started moving up slowly and I got beside him and saw TURBO TA emblem! I was a little hesitant to race him because I know a lot of these cars are in the 11s. I could hear his BOV venting everytime he deacclerated! Anyway we drive for about 5 more miles until we hit an open stretch of highway. This time I was ready. I get beside him and the car is in 4th gear again. But this time, I have it holding at around 4k. We both punch it and I slowly started pulling on him. I was so busy looking at his face I hit my rev limiter. So I quickly shifted to 5th and started pulling more! He didnt get beside me or in front of me once! We raced to about 115mph. On the way back we just played around. We were at a traffic light twice and he refused to race me. He wouldnt gun it until around 70mph.

A used supercharger for my 1le---$1000

A trip to the dentist to fill my cavity- $20

Seeing the look on a Turbo T/A owners face as you pull away from him in a car he thought he'd smoke...priceless

Thanks guys. I tried to get his attention to get him to pull over so we could talk. His car was in really good shape. He never looked over though. I'm sure he thought I was a modified 350, would of been nice to show him the "little" 305

What do you run in the quarter? Maybe this guy needed a tuneup. I would have to change plugs on mine every 6-7K miles for it to run good.

Good kill anyway, Pete

judging by what I've beat I should be in the high 12 low 13 area right now. I'm only running 4.5lbs of boost. I still can switch to a 3.5" pulley to get around 6 or 7lbs of boost. My fuel pressure is really turned down too

By the way, my cars not running too good right now either. Battery voltage and fuel pump voltage is around 12.7volts compared to 14.5 (regular), I have this crappy 3:73 in, and I dont even have posi! lol

If my original 3:42s were in there I would have taken him easier

OK, he must be all stock with just maybe a chip. With my stock setup I was running around 12.70. I like beating TTA and GN's also but mostly mustangs.
