355 350+hp vs j-bodies.

Not to sweat fellow car enthusiasts, but I'm really beginning to tire of kids in their sunfires/cavaliers assuming my car is a v6. They feel the need to rev, peel out, drive generally like a moron. Think that I "fear" their car.

I think the sunfire/cavalier are decent cars for the money. They see my single 3 inch downtube and assume I'm a v6. You figure the sound of the cam and the deep V8 rumble would clue them in . Obviously not.

I just know one of these day's I'm going to take the bait and end up losing my license or worst street racing one of these guys.

Damn Chicken, that is one nice looking car. Is it a base Bird with a transplanted engine and TA body?

BTW If you don't want these people to think youre a 6, swap in the TA (grid-style) tailights and the TA hood (with vents) and everybody will knwo you're driving at least a 305 plus your car will look better as well. I am not a big fan of the Firebird tail-lights.

It's a 82 Trans Am with a transplant, plans are to move to GTA style wing with tail-lights.

I'll tell you why you're getting reved at by these cars. You drive a screamin yellow T/A with aftermarket wheels. They just want to see what you got. That is an amazing specimen there chicken. Nice ride.
