Is This Ok?
I have A 88' IROC-Z 350TPI, 700R-4, And 2.77 Gears - All Stock. I Raced My Friends 96' Mustang GT Tonight, About 30 Mintes Ago. Well He Has Some Mods, Bigger Throttle Body, Cold Air Intake, and Flowmasters. Well We Raced 3 Times. The First Time I Beat Him By A little Bit 1/2 Car Length. Second We Were Too Close To Call. And The Third Time He Beat Me By 1/2 A Car Length. So How Is My Car Doing? Good? Bad? If It's Very Bad Time For Some Mods

Uh, I don't think he runs 14.2s, a stock 88 L98 didn't even put out 245 horses or 345 lbs/ft of torque. Bone stock, he shoulda beat you. If his GT is auto, then I could understand because 96 GTs run 15s stock with autos. I think you will run 14.7 or something like that. I raced a 96-98 GT with Flows (no tail pipes), 5 spd, and pullies and all the free bolt ons. I beat him by 2 car lengths when I had my headers and everything. And those run like 14.2s with a 5spd.
