There is this guy @ work that thinks his SS s-10 is the one of the fastest things out there. His specs are 4.3L fuel injected and a computer controled 700r4 w/ a shift kit. I have a old 85' firebird with a 305 H.O. 4 barrel carb and 700r4 + 3.56 rear end + a nice paint job Well this guy wants to race in a bad way. when I put the motor in I didn't think it was that fast. but since then I been mess'n with w/ the carb and timing. I just killed a chevy Extream pickup w/ a v-6. what do you think people think I can take'em..

 

I would think you could take him..or it would be a close race.

I had a co-worker with a SS and he ran 15.2's at the track. He said it was pretty much stock but who knows.

 

I don't know if an extreem is different than an SS but one of the guys I went to the track with has a stock one and it ran a best of 16.8. This was a standard cab. His brother with a gmc SLS (I thought was the same as an SS) ran a 16.9 with MAF, exhaust and cold air. It is extended cab.
But I doubt a stock SS will run a 15.2 even if it is different than these two.
