You have walked onto the biggest baddest dog porch and you will be dealt with accordingly.

MIR is right off Rt. 301 on Rt. 234. I've never actually been there so I can't give exact directions, but I hear it's an awesome track. If you go, look for a big group of Mustangs with Virginia license plates...that'll be me and the Tri-Cities Mustang Club (although F-bodies are welcome to join if the owner is cool). Lotta *****, where at in VA are you from? If you want to go we might be able to meet up with you somewhere to ride up together.

You can get a copy of the flyer at their site MIR. It's a street legal only race, but with the way the rules are set up I don't see any reason there couldn't be some 8 second cars out there.

I've been to all of these events and should be there with my 91 GT, hopefully we won't break this year. The event is called World War IV. A spearate class is setup for stock 4-cyl, mod 4-cly, that same with 6-cyl and 8's. And what they do is to count the number of victories for each class and the highest total goes to either domestic or imports. Usually the imports win because the domestics have V8's only and the imports have 4 and 6-cyl's. MORE V6 TURBO'S HAVE TO SHOW UP.

as much as I like the concept, I don't think that the show is fair... I mean, aren't there restrictions set on the domestics because the domestics are just too DAMN FAST for imports?

I doubt I will be able to make it. I live in suffolk, the place where all the ugly people from hampton roads seem to end up. I will be on a 100mile bike trip that weekend. How big is you club? That would be so fun. do you ever go to VIR?

We just had our first meeting 2 weeks ago and our second meeting is this saturday. We had 9 cars show up for the first one, so I'm hoping for about the same turnout this time around. There's also about 10 other people who've expressed an interest, but for whatever reason they didn't show up to the last meeting.

4 sec = around 300 MPH 1/4 which is comparable to jet powered dragsters...

Its not a jet dragster, but its definetly not your ave firebird. Its like the ones on TV, with the huge (functional) wing, fat rear slicks, small fronts, and the shute. Oh yeah, its Chevy powered (all of his vehicles are Chevy powered) but he doesnt like nitrous, but I think he may have it.
