96 z28 vs 01 gt stang.

96 z28 has LT1/longtubes/folowmasters 4L60E/corvette servo/shift kit

01 stang is 4.6/5spd/Shorty headers/flowmasters.

Both running 93 octane on street tires in 1/8 Mile.

Do a 20 roll to 100 if you're not comfortable with a dig. You'll take his lunch money EVERY time.

With an LT1, really the only Mustangs you should even give a second glance are Cobras and 2005+ V8s. 5.0 Cobras couldn't touch the LT1 when it first debuted in the Camaro in 93, and as NemeSS stated, non-boosted Modular motors are crap.

This all assuming both cars aren't lopsided with one having way more mods than the other or something game-changing, like boost or drag radials vs street tires.
