Can an 87 IROC keep up with an 87 Supra?
Wanna know if I have a chance at beating my sister's supra. She's got an inline 6 with an auto, I've got the 305 with an auto. I've got a hypertech computer chip from the 80's/90's from the PO (if that means anything haha).

Depends.... Does she have the 7m-gte or the 7m-ge? In other words is she turbo'd? I feel if she's n/a it will be close but if she is turbo'd then i see her leaving you in the dust.

My boss back in 1988 had a 1987 Supra with a manual tranny, no turbo. I got to drive it once. It was pretty fast and a lot of fun to drive. One with an auto probably would be a little slower and definatly not as much fun to drive.
