So here is what I had a few weeks ago. The best times which were darn consistant were 11.62-11.68@114Mph on average. 60 foot times were 1.58-1.60 consistently. I've mad about 50-60 passes this year on the engine which I swapped in the car this spring in place of a turbo V6.

Here is the mod list I had.

385 stroker SBC Eagle rotating assembly
11.1:1 comp ratio
XE268 cam with comp gold 1.6 rockers (224/230 durration @.050) (.509/.512 lift) (110 LSA)
Performer Rpm intake
Dart standard Iron Eagle 200cc Iron heads 64cc chambers as cast.
Holley 750 DP mechanical 2nds with a proform main body (73/79 jets 35/33 squiters) 50cc
Dougs 1 3/4" long tube headers. Run open headers
10 bolt rear end with minispool, clip eliminators, girdle, 3.23 gears, moser 28 spline axles.
Th350 with a freakshow 3500 converter. Leave off footbreak but I do have a transbrake w/2 step.

Here is what has or will be changed(the cam and PTC converter is the only thing not changed as of now

AFR competition ported heads. 195cc intake runners, 65cc combustion chambers..exc.
Comp xe284 cam with 1.6 comp gold rockers. (240/246 dur. @.050) (.540/.544 lift) (110 LSA)
Victor Jr. Intake High rise one (1 inch taller then plan jr.)
Strange s60 rear end with spool. 4.10 gears and disk brake kit.
PTC custom converter to the specs above and weight..exc. Aimed at 4700-4800 stall speed. 8 inch converter.

The goal is to have this engine make great tq out of the hole around 4500-5000rpm. And the power band hopefully hold up to 63-6400 rpm because with these gears and my tires, depending on the converter slip, im looking at 120-125mph at 6300-6500 rpm. And thats about where id like to spin the engine.

I've just changed the heads, intake, and the rear end. I plan to race it this weekend and know its going to be gutless up in the higher rpms because the cam that is in it, dies above 5500. But im hoping for some killer 60 foots if the victor jr didn't completely kill my tq outta the hole. The converter now flashes more at like 3800 but still that may be a bit low for that intake, im not sure.

My guess when this is all said and done is the car will run high 10s. 10.80s 10.90s or so would be nice as this car will be into the pro class next year which i can use my trans brake and 2 step as well.

My guess for how the cars going to react now without changing the cam and converter.... well my average was always in the 11.60s@114-115 mph. Im sure that it may go a little faster with the better heads and hopefully the 60 picks up with the new rear end gears, so ill guess at 11.30s at best but more like 11.40s if i can yank a 1.52 or under 60 foot. My suspention is build well. Everything you can do to it minus a 4 link.

So figured id share my set up and if anyone has ideas on what shell run post them up.
