I see a lot of thirdgen cars at bonavile. Do thirdgens have a lower drag coefficient than their newer brotheren or are they cheaper to tear up for runs on the flat? I know the forthgen is wider than the third. I heard warren johnson was dissapointed when his firebird had a higher drag coefficient than his oldsmobile. Please list only the facts.
Thanks

The Third Gen Firebird. The 84 was .32 and was said to be capable of .29 with the standard wheels instead of the high-tech turbo aluminum wheels. I think the 91-92 was .31. Camaro was .34.

thirdgen adn 4.1 gen camaros have the exact same drag. the 4.2 gen camaro is slightly better. the late 3rd gen birds and the 4.1 gen birds are the same and teh 4.2 gen birds are actually worse(until massaged into pro stock trim)
