hey just wondering . . . wel first off i have a 91 gta tpi v8, so far i only put flowmaster 80 series on it-
what can i expect if i race a 96-00 civic si w/ a v-tec in it???
i wanna know!!! cause some guys wanna race me but i don't know what the out come will be!!!!!!!!
any suggestions???

It will die a horrible death. Si's (stock vs. stock or lightly modded SI)are no match for any TPI. Unless you fubar the launch.

Ahhh, ya just gave me that beer face, man I'm so lost. A Firebird GTA compared to a Civic????!!!!! Why dare ask such a question! Don't even think of losing, you will win, I kinda take it your car might be new to you. Because after owning an F-body for atleast two months, you start to gain cockiness (it first starts when everyone starts lookin at your car), I mean cmon being worried and nervous about a Civic?? Kids who have Civics at my skool, don't even try to talk smack or even want to race, no contest. YOU WILL BEAT HIM!

 

With a newer 305 you'll kill any Civic. Most 305 EFIs' will beat new civics. Unless a Civic has a Supercharger, NOS or a Turbo; they will be slow.

ok . . . duhh- i get the pic-just wanted to be sure!!! and yes ChevyLuva3 it is new to me, just picked it up in oct. of this year-got it cause i liked my dads- a 91 fbird convert. w/ only 28,000 original miles!!!

On crank and crome the tv show they just bought a 95 civic and they put it on the dyno and stock it had 87 horspower.
After 1,000 dollars in mods that included rice pipe exhaust and ram air they got a whole 10 HP increase.
Those cars blow.
