race that never happened...
so today my friend(88 iroc 5.0 TPI) wanted to race my other friend(94 subaru SVX). so we go to an old street where we usually race. so i pull up on the side of the road behind my buddies iroc. they have the hood up and im assumming their checking out his engine......until i see the smoke. i run up only to see a fire in the passenger side of the engine compartment. my other friends start throwing mud on the fire cuz we have no liquid of any kind. so a couple minutes later, the fire is finally put out but not before we filled the passenger side with mud.
just thought id share my story with everyone.

well, as far as we could tell......a spark plug wire burned on the exhaust manifold and some oil came up through the dipstick and touched the wire. by the way..this wasnt the first time this happened to his car. it happened about a week ago also. just for a reference, his engine is not in good shape at all....

most common roadside fire i see are the ones where the headers set a plug wire on fire and it just goes from there. It happened on my buddies mustang. We had to poor mountain dew on it to put it out. kinda sucked but it did the trick..hehe
