Those are some nice lookin Stangs Nic, I thought last time I saw pics of them they looked a lot worse?? I want your Mustang though. Unfortunately I had an '85 4 banger before the IROC that the tranny kept going on me, I was too lazy to check the oil from under the car, too bad, that would have been one quick stang with a better motor in it.

 

Amazing what a good coat of wax will do isn't it? My girlfriend just got that Stang last week. It's not very fast yet, but it'll be running 13.50 and absolutely no faster (IHRA roll bar rules for 'verts) by the end of the summer.

 

Im new to this site and im wonderin why there are mustang people on here?????? im confused??????and i think the mustangers are too??????

 

It's cool, at least you asked, instead unlike some people. Sure they are here, and the ones that post are cool, they give us some good info on some of our competition, I'm sure they can give us better insight than most. And frankly most people don't care, cause it's still American right??, It shouldn't be Ford vs Chevy anymore, but Domestic vs Rice/Import, (that's my feelings anyways.)

Oh, there's also an import poster RX7Speed, he's cool too, he hates rice just as much as the next guy.

 

Just as long as it's fast I like it, doesn't matter if it's Ford, Chevy, Mopar, Toyota, BMW, etc., but I hate them kids in fart piped, stickered up, push handled 16 second econo boxes that run around here like they've got a racecar.

I just think it's funny that he said to post pictures and the out of the three people who did, two were Mustangs and one of the guys (Nic) even posted two cars.

 

I expected that, cause I assume most of you Mustang guys don't check out other forums where I originally posted the thread, I figure even though you don't own 3rdgens, you guys are still a part of this site.

 

True...this is the only board on this site i really check out. I can't really offer too much tech info on 3rd gens, but i love hanging out on the racing board. As far as i'm concerned, i could care less about the Chevy vs Ford thing...even if it's always fun to taunt the competition. But i mean that all in fun.

Here's a "better" picture of my corvette. Note the paint is actually pretty damn good...this picture was taken in the morning so there was a ton of frost and ice all over it hence the dull appearance.
