Where to get a new aerowing?

I'm looking to get the rust cleaned up on my GTA and get the whole thing painted, hopefully this summer. One place I went to said he could fix my spoiler (the stock wrap-around aerowing, cracking along the sides and rusting inside) and another said that if he fixed it, it wouldn't last long and the patches would fall apart. Any experiences with repairing the stock spoiler?

I was also told that a factory replacement would be around $600 Canadian. How do aftermarket fibreglass replicas compare, cosmetically and price-wise? Any idea where I could find one?

I'd like to keep the car stock but I'd make an exception with the spoiler if it was a better way to go, as long as it looks like the stock one. I have yet to see an aftermarket design that looks better than the original.

I'd love to get a notchback hatch for it but the only aftermarket one I've seen looks downright stupid compared to one from the factory. Ah well...

I'm in the same boat as you! This place sells fibreglass replacement aero wings: http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/ I have been meaning to check them out, but haven't had a chance yet. If you check them out, let me know the scoop because I need one bad!

Be VERY carfull what you buy from them. i seen their aero wing and i thought it sucked!!!!!!!!!
the sides of it that go up the window were not even close to strate. Be sure you see what you buy form them before you pay for it.

One other thing. I was looking for a Ram Air 2 hood from them also. they dont carry it but could get it in for me. turned out the price that they were going to charge me was the same as if i got it myself from the US. AND he said "that they would make a mold of it so they could sell others."
So i was going to pay for them to get a free mold and then make money off it by selling it to otheres FU_K them!

my advice is too be carfull with them!

Thanks for the input guys. This is still a couple of paycheques off at best so I'm in no big hurry. So I take it repairing the original isn't a great idea?

TA Terror: Actually I noticed those guys had an eBay auction for one of their Areowings a while back and I couldn't find it when I wanted another look. Thanks!

Wow is their website ever ugly... I can't even find out where they are based. Any idea?

Trigger GTA: lol Them making a mold off of your new hood. Sure, you can pay more than everyone else, that makes sense... Screw that.

Nblanchard: I'll probably look into that. Have you seen any of their spoilers first hand?

I haven't seen one... but according to what they told me, it's an exact replica.
