Here's an update from one of the TFbM members that was just there yesterday:
As at 4:30pm today, here's the progress of the dragstrip:

An employee of the client I was visiting lives in Cayuga, so I gave him a ride home. Lucky for me, as he happened to know the guys working on the track, and I got right onto the dragstrip with no problems at all :-)
They were working on the parking lot today, and tomorrow they're going to get going on paving the track. According the the guy I was talking to (who seemed to be in charge), the track should be useable within a week. Useable, and worth going to are two entirely different things though. The concrete still has to be "polished" after that is done, and then the glue has to be put down.
The base to the new tower is there, but there is no structure. The old concession stand is still there, as are the old grandstands and old tower. The grandstands which hold 6,000 will be replaced by two new temporary grandstands which should hold 12,000 people. Those will be in place by the long weekend in August.
