Well... it was a hot day today, but not humid, so the car wasn't that bogged down. My best was a 14.46 second 1/4 mile. my 60ft times were mostly in the 2.1XX range, so I was hooking pretty good... just the heat killed me, and my car.. LOL

BILLZ88350 had troubles hooking up, he has lowering springs, and they are stiff... we think the lack of "squat" was killing hit times. Last year he got a 13.97, todays best was 14.2.

My car squats nice, putting the power to the road.. so any thought of lowering my car has now diminished... but LCA's and Panhard rod are still in the future.

Oh... Saw a Chevy Mustang today :P It was a mustang with Bowtie power Fastest car there, 8.6 seconds and around 160MPH, I think... I was more amazed by the 8.6 secinds

 

NATHAN: I WILL HAVE TO CORRECT YOU A BIT. WHEN I RAN THE 13.94 @ 99.32 MPH LAST YEAR; I DID HAVE THE EIBACH SPRINGS ON ALREADY. I HOOKED UP NOT TO BAD BUT WHEN I ADDED THE TC. DELAY HARNESS ON MY TRANNY THAT PUT IT OVER THE EDGE AND NOW THE LOWERING EFFECT IS GOING AGAINST ME. I HAD THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A PROBLEM PROIR TO THE TRACK RUN BUT DIDNT REALIZE HOW BAD. LUCKILY I ORDERED THE RELOCATING BRACKETS FOR THE TRAING ARMS FROM BMR. I HOPE THIS HELPS OTHERWISE OFF COMES THE T.C. DELAY HARNESS. I HOPE NOT TO DO THIS AS ONCE THE CAR HOOKS THE DELAY SWITCH REALLY HELPS THE CAR TURN ON AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY MPH ON THE TIME SLIP
