Anyone know of any good shops to get paint done? I'd like to do the body work myself and then have someone else paint it. The trouble is most of them won't touch it if you do the body work yourself but I've painted before and I didn't like it that much. I don't want to go the Maaco special route, I want something that is going to look good. I'm thinking of a smaller shop, fewer people, good work rather than hire a pile of guys a 6 bucks an hour to blast cars - in then out. Anyone have any leads on shops which do good work without being really expensive?

I know of a place here in Welland... he'll spray your body work, but you will get no receipt and/or warranty.

a receipt or warranty doesn't matter that much to me.. I just want it sprayed. I'd like to send it to a bodyshop and have them do all of the work but I just don't want to spend a small fortune when I'm perfectly capable (and like) doing it myself. It actually doesn't need almost any body work at all. I did tons of work on it last summer and then shot a coat of black acrylic on it last fall. The temp. changed as I was working and needless to say I wasn't pleased with the results. It essentially needs to be sanded and repainted.

Well if you want to take the trip... Delta 1 Collision is the name... and 905-734-1023 is the number... ask how much to spray it. Don't say I sent ya, cause he'd prolly kill me

Ok, thanks a bunch. I don't know whether I'll just get them to do it or whether I'll have him spray it. Probably depends on how much they tell me they'll want to do it!
