Race prep tips..
Race prep tips..
I have never raced before, and would like some input concerning preping my car for the event on the 21st. What are some good things to do to enhance ET's and run well?
the goal is not to peel on the line.. according to daz, every tenth lost to 60 ft times is doubled in 1/4 mile et's...
If you're going for et, stage deep.
bump timing, drop rear air pressure, raise front air pressure, cut weight.. other than that nothing else really you can do provided your car is at its peak.

I think it will take a few runs before you know the best way to launch the car. What Slade wrote is right, but if your having problems with spinning the wheels, your probably better off shallow staging. Just bump the second pre-stage light on. This way, you'll waste some of that tire spin before you break the beam and start the clock.
