acceld...

look at the main wire (positive) coming from the battery. going into the main wiring harness of the car..that was cooking when i got my headers done, they had to reroute the wire and its fine now..altghough i need a water bump..(oh well)...it could be the same thing..i know thats what the problem was with my car...

it would run then just die all of the sudden..

i wanna see you there man..

fix it and common down..

Also, check your vacuum hoses too. After porting the plenum over the winter, I hook everything back up except for the vacuum hose going to the brake booster...it would crank and start for a quick second and then die right away.

Wow.. your's would stall? I forgot to plug the Booster vaccuum too.. teehee... but mine just loped irratically.. kept running though. Almost sounds like a bummed MAF.. but I don't think you have a MAF anymore. right? So maybe a bummed MAP? Maybe the heat from the headers got to the fuel lines, and fried the fuel pump? Just throwing stuff out.... Had a similar problem with my '79 Parisienne, it was the whole distributor that was shot.. well, maybe not... but I just replaced it the whole thing anyway... I tried the module first, still nothing... so I imagine it was the HEI on the base of the distributor (I think thats what its called)

hahaha whered you get that? So true though BMW are more snotty than anyone you see. Saw somewhere that M3 only has like 182bhp... Isnt that like 160ish net hp? Man thats not much more than a damn civic. M3 roadster is a dif story though...300 something bhp could make that tin can fly.
