Yeah... I guess I was a bit harsh, but as soon as Jordan posted that pic, I knew where my thread was headed. Ask Palric... he'll tell you about the hijackers.

I didn't mean the calendar would be a swim suit edition It will strictly have 12 cars, one for each month obviously, and if the owners want to be included in the picture or a small face shot to put in the corner along with their bio. I'm serious about this. Anyone else??

I think it's an awesome idea... and if I had a 3rdgen, i'd submit a picture

Here's another suggestion...(although it may be too late in the season to do it this year).

Figure out the 12, and have a calendar shoot day. Get the 12 cars and whomever wants to come out for fun drive to some cool spots with lots of photo ops and snap the pictures and then do dinner or bbq or something afterwards.

??

Great idea!
I think 12 cars would be easy to get.
Maybe divide the number of attendees by 12 and take shots with multiple cars.
Perhaps scout around for a general location to get varied scenery, KWL area ?
I'd be interested in some quality pix for my screensaver too.
As much as I like my own car, it's getting boring to look at...
I hope this can come together.

Pacer...

The cruz idea is good except it would look alot better if the cars were all shot with different backgrounds, lighting conditions, weather etc. It would look kinda slapped together if the only difference between pics was the car. Also, what does everyone think about putting a collage of all board members cars on the last page. That way everyone gets a piece of the pie.

The cars was already"slammed into the weeds" when I bought it, I'm not sure what springs were used. Thanx for the compliment, something just feels right about a convertible on a beach, I just need me one of them bikini clad mechanics like Mr. Jordan has to pose with it

You Canadians are really pathetic-I'm convinced. You need some lessons in decent humanity-especially with the running over Mark's animation character--that's pretty low, man. Oh but wait-I guess I dont know what I'm talking abooot-eh?

Maybe you should read into a subject even a slight bit before shooting your ignorant mouth off...? If you think the 'running over Mark's character' is low, you ovbiously have no idea the basis for the .gif, or that it's a simple joke. The fact that something so stupid 'covinced you' Canadians are pathetic shows you really had your mind made up to begin with anyways, or you just take e-personas wayy too seriously - I have no idea what place you have on these boards to begin with...? As for the Canadian cliche joke... the fact that ignorant Americans still say that says something else about them entirely.

Very well said. Criticize Canadians about decent humanity and in the same breath insult us. Doing the same thing to us that you just bitched about. bravo

Get off your high horse's. Canadian, American, Chinese or Japanese...Who cares? We are all Human! Deal with it. If you have nothing nice to say...don't say it at all. Or at least not here. This should be brought up with the head honcho of this board. I don't come on here to listen to this childish american try to talk down to us. This type of foolishness should get anyone band from the board entirely. Kick em out. We are here to help others not to defend who we are, or what we know. What's next...are you crazy young americans going to atack Canada next too? Come on grow up or get out!!!!

I do think most Americans forget...You immegrated from Canada! You are really Canadians. Dont' forget it. WE are brother countries...Lets get along OK. Why fight? When we can Have FUN and Party!!! No more bullSH%T! Lets help each other and nothing more. No need to "diss" anyone or make fun of another. DOn't let Politics ruin our good nature.

Not to argue, but I doubt most of us came from Canada, my family for instance is from many places but none from Canada.

Hey Mark. That isn't exactly what I meant. The USA original immagrants were from here in Canada. I didn't mean now. I meant many years ago. Everyone was under the Queen of England then. That's all Don't worry Mark. We all get along with you. And try to get along with everyone. Ignorance is what causes discussion like these. At least you have a level head on your shoulders. I respect that! All I am getting at, is. We all need to get along period. If we don't... who knows what is to come in the future. PEACE!!!!!

Yup we sure are immature guys eh (thats a canadian *eh* btw)? Cause we got nothing better to do than go on regional message boards that are hours ontop of hours far away and read up on posts, then make fun of the people in an immature way, while calling them immature at the same time, meanwhile making ourselves look bad. Wow guys, he was right, we really should grow up. That just might be my next new years resolution...

I remember when I was living in Canada.. I think I disappointed a lot of people there...

kept asking me questions... how do you say SAAB? say about? Do you have to snowmobile to get around in winter? I say Zed-28 not Zee-28... heck when I met the guys I worked with its like.. hey how come you don't got no funky canadian accent and say eh and are slow... lol

What I actually found weird was it wasn't till I got to California, that the accents sounded decent again, in TN, AK, OK and towns in between I couldn't understand jack what they were saying...

Sar wad yers lak ta ardur?

took me a few secs, but in city talk that's, sir, what would you like to order?

I'd like an ice tea please...

ArKay ya wans a asser teee an sum bakin an ehhhgs, ri?

Um yep, whatever you just said...

I've got nothing against americans, I have an american uncle and extended family (damn bastard followed nascar for a year, invited me but damn mom wouldn't let me off of school lol)... my cousin at the time was too young to appreciate it...
