Nice job, Scott. You really have to show me how you polish like that. I tried and it turned out decent, but nothing like that.

scott i gotta ask you, did you hand sand that? or do you use some sort of pad on a drill or something?

i plan on starting my runners, but i hate hand sanding. i hate the feel of sandpaper. i usually end up wet sanding cuz i like the water against my hands..

but can't i do runners and tb with some sort oftool that will spin the sandpaper for me or something...

Sweet! Good job Scott. That's a lot of work. I tried doing mine a couple years ago and gave up. Looks great.

If you're selling the GTA rims, let me know.

Great job Scott. I think the body colour paint really sets them off.... compared to the black that most people do.

i thought you might ask that question so i took a pic of the tools i used.
1 is a air drill will a buffing whell on it
2 is a angle grinder with scotch bright pads.(they are like sand paper but a higher grit and do not clog up as fast)
3 is a stright grinder with a felt tip.

because your runners and not stright most of it will have to be done by hand. on the plenum if you do it by hand it will come out with waves. it would be best if you used a electric palm sander so it will come out flat

"If you're selling the GTA rims, let me know." sorry Chris not for sale
the formula rims are 15s and just for a set of slicks

That paint on the 15's will certainly rob you of a couple 10'ths

Scott, you have a problem. Put the sand paper down and step away from the aluminum. No wait, do my superram first
