Pistons???
I'AM GOING OUT TO BUY A SET OF PISTONS, AND WANTED WHAT KIND I SHOULD BUY. I WANT TO RUN NOS SOME DAY AND DON'T WANT TO SPEND MORE THAN $3OO. IF ANYBODY COULD POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION THAN THAT WOULD BE A LOT OF HELP. THIS IS MY ENGING SETUP
350 ci bored 030 over
882 heads hevaly ported and polished
1.94 int 1.50 ext
Edelbrock perfomer RPM intake
Holley 670 Streat Avenger carb
Stock crank and rods
leaning toward a 480 lift cam from Comp Cams
and how much hp do you think I will make???
Thank you

TRW forged pistons are a cheap, good quality forging.
Although, for $300 (especially CDN $$$) you're not going to find anything acceptable.
I would guess your combo would make about 310 horse, NA. Depending of course, on the exact cam, tune of the setup, headers, and how well your heads are ported.

Axle/Gears: Yup -- they still work
IMHO -- I'd go with hypereutectic pistons. More forgiving for the street.
KB hypereutectic are over $600 CDN I don't know that you are going to get better than OEM quality for $300 CDN ??? Not sure I'd want to run NOS in the power range you are looking for, on cheap pistons. Decent rings are going to cost over $200.
