Header Question.

I wan't to buy a set of headers and matching Y-Pipe. I don't want to spend a fortune on these, i just wand a set that works. Something like Headman's are fine with me. The problem is, I don't know what set to buy. The block I'm using is a 350ci that was in a early 80's Stingray.( Is now a Cammed 355ci) The headers are the last thing i have to buy before putting the engine in the T/A.

Can someone hook me up with some info? Or even better a part number...

Orrrr, If you have a set laying around that will fit. GREAT!

Thanks guys...

Jordan

I got these ones - Hedman #68481 - for 5.7 TPI car. Came with y-pipe and are uncoated.

Installed OK but they are 1 & 5/8 which you may not want.

Had AIR tubes which had to removed because are f'kin ugly as well as useless.

I think Hedman has a similar set up w/out the AIR tubes.

the hedman shorties are a good unit. they have 1 5/8" primaries and 3" collectors. if want something cheap you could buy my flowtech headers. they are good, but have 1.5" primaries.

go to www.hedman.com

the 68480 's are the long tubes that i am buying to go with my pre-existing dual exhaust. i would definetly call canadian tire about ordering the hedman shorties. i called CT today and the hedman long tubes are $204.79. at the speed shop the same headers were $290. i will be ordering my hedmans from Canadian Tire later this week.

That aftermarket parts catalogue at Crap Tyre has good stuff and their prices were good on the things I got them to quote on.

Probably safer to have them import stuff for you and if they screw it up at least you can go after them here in Canada.
