Jer Get's Lucky (Twice!)
I'll try to keep this brief......I was at home, whataver, got a message from a femme friend of mine at college, she's feeling....'playful'..*cough*...so I hop in the 'Bird, head'er down Taunton, with not a moment to spare. About halfway there, the limit goes from 80 to a 60 through a town-type area...kind of pointless, I was around 130 or so anyways....and as I'm booting it through, I think to myself that my new air-fresheners kick ***, and then my heart hits my throat as I see the cherries come flying up behind me.
At this point, I figure I'm pretty ****ed...can't run in the V6 anyways, (not that I would), so I pull over and wait for it. When the cop finally gets to the car (I left the music up because I was ****ting my pants, not thinking), he says 'how's it going tonight'..blah blah...finally asks 'I got you doing 113 in a 60...you better have a good reason for such excessive speeds.' I said to him, 'Do you want the honest answer?' he said 'yes', so I told him 'she's tall, blonde, and waiting at the college'. All I could think of, trying to not sound like a ****head. he said to wait, went to his car, he came back, said 'you're lucky' and ripped up the ticket right there. He told me what he could have done and all of that, taken my liscence, etc.....man..I'm sooooo lucky...his name was David T------------something, so David, if ya ever read this, you fu*cking ROCK!:hail: :hail: :hail:

Hey Jer, remember me? The dark Red GTA guy at Durham, Girlfriend was in you class?
Anyway, my girlfriend once called me late at night from Cobourg saying she too was *playful*....I was in Whitby, which is usaully a 45 min drive down the 401 from Cobourg.
I jumped in the GTA and was heading on to the 401 merging into the traffic going 190 km/hr at the time, then I saw some lights pull up fast behind me, so stupid me thinking that it was a 'stang wanting to play so I floored it and then saw the cherries come on seconds later. I pulled over but I guess not enough and the cop goes on his speaker and yells at me to move even closer to the ditch.
The cop was a young OPP and gave me a ticket for going 160 in a 100. I know I was going over 200 so I knew that he wasn't looking at his radar properly, if at all. I took my case to POINTTS and the guy there agreed that the radar wasn't setup right and could make the case that he a was a young cop and such.
Anyway, POINTTS got the ticket nulled and I just had to pay the cost of ticket (to POINTTS) which was still almost $400....
