Cayuga Last night
Cayuga Last night
well not a good night for me my best time 14.7 with a 2.4 60' time
The left lane was like ice no one was using it.. I had some 2.6 60' times and a 2.8 60' time aswell...
And I know longer belong to the faster than trigger club he owned me 3 times...hahahaha Funny how his car came to life later in the night...
So the lanes were pretty slick so i must of hot lapped about 7 times to practice my lights got .512 and a .530 after a few try's..
The only thing where I benefieted was letting my shift light tell me when to shift it gave me a new mph best 97.34mph... So the computor really does know when to shift...

Trigger: What changes did you make to get the your times down?
Since we were at Sparta I see you have dropped at least 7 tenths.
Good work!

none!!!!
ST Thomas remains to be the worst track around. wed. i was at cayuga and turned a 14.2 with no changes. last night at Grand Bend i got 14.01 with no changes
if you want to go out and have some fun then ST Thomas is a good place to go. if you want to go out and set your best times then there is only one place to go... GB. Traction was very good for me there. i had a few 60 of 2.0 and the rest were 2.1 nothing any slower then that.
i did go back and check every thing over in the car. make sure the timing was right the fuel psi was right the tps was set. just checked the basics

My 60's were around 2.5's, man do I got a tracktion problem, I lay rubber 3/4's of the race. Scotts said all he could here was his motor and my squealing tires for the run. Oh and the cars way faster then when I took ya for a run, my timing was out, when he reset it OMG what a diference, I gotta get my SFC's in now I got stress cracks showing. John say's with all 8 cyl's and slicks my car should be 12's no problem.
John ran his best run N/A in his 75 Formula at 11.6 not sure of his mph. He still has a 150 shot of N20 that he wasnt using last night.

I wonder if Sparta only hurts those with existing traction issues?

With the bad Traction I had at Grand Bend I can just guess what it would be like at Sparta. Time to get slicks.

Hawk, was your car loaded up when the SFC's were installed. Stress cracks aren't normal on proper installation. If so have it fixed soon. Improperly installed SFC can be worse to the chassis than having no SFC's at all.
Oh, and congrats on the times guys. My car has finally started up and Pauls should be ready in a couple weeks. Wouldn't you guys be in big trouble if popped in on a track day to clean up...

I got the SFC's just havnt put them on yet
. Will be soon as I get my other bill taken care of.
As for showing up at the track and cleaning up, bring it. The more the merry'r.
I had a good time racing with Scott cant wait to do it again. Maybe I'll have all 8 cyl's fireing this time
Changed half my wires and only got a small missfire now, should clear up when I do the other half Sunday.

I was mistaken, I thought you already had SFC in, and you were developing stress cracks. My bad.
As for showing up, I've tried to convince these bunch of Nancy's to try and find a halfway point like the back stretch of Shannonville to meet up, so as Paul and I don't have an 8-9 hour drive to St Thomas, or a 10 hour plus drive to GB.

Personally, it's not the drive, nor the gas to get down there. It's if I wreck or blow something up, how much do you think a 10 hour tow trip would cost.
I know a 350km tow cost me my CAA membership, they revoked it after that one.
