Hi guys.
I recently had my driveshaft balanced and it still vibrates. I'm convinced that it wasn't done properly...bla bla bla...LONG story.
I'm at my wits end with this. On Friday, my rear seal on the pinion blew out - quite possibly related to my vibration.

Bottom line, I need a known good steel or aluminum (don't care) shaft to install for a quick test to see if my vibration problem is still there. I'm getting the vibration just below 120kms/hour.

Anyone have an extra shaft known to be straight and in balance?
Or, you can drive it to my house, i'll remove it, install in my car (5min) and install it back. I've got the large michelin hydraulic jack with soft lift pad too - you won't lose any tranny fluid and won't stratch up the rear diff.

I personally can't help you- but it might be pertinent to tell everyone what tranny you've got to make sure you get the right shaft.

 

The tranny does not matter.

It's a 5 speed though.

 

I got 3 spares. I dont think any are alum though.
