Is it a universal motor?
Does it work with the one wire plugged in?

So you have the primary plug already connected? How does the motor operate like that?

Normally you have 3 or 4 wires on a wiper motor- power to motor, power to washer pump and grounds for 1 or both (both if you have intermittent wipers- but motor itself always grounds through assembly body). How many wire are on the plug you have already? Did someone put a remote fluid pump in the car, thus tearing apart the wiring on the harness that would normally go to the motor housing- thus explaining the "extra" connections on motor?

These wires that are 'hanging out'- is there a plug on them or are they hanging loose? Maybe someone was fiddling with a remote pump as the one in this motor gave out and their hack job left alot to be desired.

Where did this replacement motor come from? Compare the one you have with this one- if they are shaped differently you have the wrong unit- there are no "universal" replacements that I am aware of.

Buy a digital camera and take a picture and post it...
