How long does that stuff last? Is it durable? Do they just kind of form kitty hair over a buck or what?

No, i'm serious. What do they use to make the custom body work? Is it all fiberglass? I remember you posted something about using Prelude skirts and I doubt they would be a direct bolt on.

ok,
umm from the best of my knowledge they use fibreglass as the final step but use something else that bonds the metal and fibreglass together to create a strong bond..although because i dont have SFC's the car moves alot and has been moving alot causing bubbling and cracking. so he says now that when doin the tails and the new side skirts i have, he is gonna try this new stuff on the market...almost like a liquid metal that compounds to the metal then still sticky enough to hold the fibreglass then applying the new fibreglass over that metal compound brings it to ultimate hold....but..we shall see..

yeah the front skirt was originally from a 94 prelude custome made for the iroc..(which now they produce all the time) my rear skirt is from a 2000 toyota celica gts and my side skirts are from a 1995-1999 chev cavalier..(no door panels this time) i had to change the sides cuz i pulled the car out one day and noticed that the pass side skirt (on the door) had cracked all the way down...so..

but i will get more info and as i learn it i will post it up..

pics will be up when its done..but probably not before camaro nationals because thats the official unveiling of the car for the year

why don't you get subframe connectors? It seems to be a pretty cheap mod compared to the money you have put in already.

2 reasons

1.my undercarriage lights are in the way (not too bad, i can relocate them)
2.cant get anyone to weld them because we cant get under the car with a hoist..

but..i am thinking about gettin them really soon..i hear that with a stb it stiffens the car up like 300%..

anyone know who the best company for the sfcs are and they price? or is anyone sellin a set

Get the Alston or Mac SFC's, they do not run along the rocker area, that way you would not have to worry about the lights.

I think the macs are one of the lowest priced scf's right now. I know I saw a group perchase going on last week, prob. still going!! Try the vert board. I think $170 American or somthing like that.

I guess you can try to find anyone locally that sells Mac parts. Mac had a Canadian warehouse at one point, but they closed it a couple years ago I think.
