TH350?..I have a rebuilt one here but no kickdown(non-lockup). It was purposely rebuilt like that. Its good for an 11 second car .I have a used 700R4 (150K kilo) here too with the converter.I have everything for the conversion too except for TV cable and lockup connector.

If you want to keep yours then I would highly recommend Lawrence Transmissions in Etobicoke. THe price is fair but the work is solid.Ask for Bob.Theres a cheaper place I go but its about an hour and a half away.

You can try my 700R4 first then return it if you dont like it..

Thanks for the offer on the 700 but if I do another conversion it's going to be to a six speed - maybe get Kat to do it..lol.

I need a TH350 that still allows engine braking and that I can downshift from third to second w/out f'cking it up too much - also, upshifts can't be too firm for wet track conditions. The one I have now was OK for all of that so I think I'll call Lawrence Transmission and see about getting it rebuilt - last S1 race is at Dunnville this Sat - doubt I'll be ready in time for that one - tranny failed because of a bad rebuild - not from beating on it at S1 and S2 although that probably did'nt help it much either.

This one has a semi manual valve body on a Superior rbeuilt kit.You can still downshift or upshift manually.Only thing thats different is that it wont downshift on its own when you floor it or go past 1/2 throttle. I put it about 10K on the TH350 on the rebuild.

George i have my backup TH-350 for sale if you're interested......

I use a TH400 now so its no good to me (different length requires different driveshaft & also yoke is different)

This transmission was behind my car when it was running 12.60's.....
