got acouple questions
sup guys.. got a question. i got my car in the shop right now getting a full makeover and im hunting for lowering springs now, last thing thank ***. below is a photochop of just how my car looks. i found a pic of a pre 85 z28 with the same colour as mine and added my stuff> rims, clear markers, tint, and red caliper, plus i lowered it. anyway i want to lower my car to that size (in pic) but i dont know how low that is, any ideas? also i have stiffer performance shocks do i need to change them or just the springs??
another thing thats bothering me is my engine, i went with a red combo engine i have it all chromed out but with all red wires. should i leave it all red??

Sportlines would probably lower your car to something like the first picture that you've got there. There's a few threads on the suspension board where people have posted pictures of their cars with a prokit or with sportlines.
You should have good shocks to keep up with the higher spring rates associated with lowering springs although it depends what you use the car for as well - Bilsteins are good for street if you can afford them. People seem to like KYB for the money but I've heard a lot of people say that they're not so great. I have Koni Yellows with a prokit and it's probably harsher than most people would want to put up with.
