you couldn't if you wanted to without major body work... you can come close though, run a 2" or smaller exhaust and a 22-23" tall tire. would look very, very bad though in my opinion.

my tires are low but not that low..22 is dangerous as hell lol mines like 24.5 i think...thats why i almost can already..IMO i dont mind it tho..cause i think my rims would look to small with alot bigger tire..ive never liked big side walls..always like the low pros

but i agree i could come close but i wouldnt actually do it

I live 10 minutes from the fairgrounds. It's an interesting idea though.

But do you remember last year's weekend? The cops had a field day pulling over anyone and anything just outside the grounds. They even had the chopper buzzing around overhead. What a cash grab!

Secondly, I'm not prepared to open up my vehicle and show everyone what I've got. Especially not living closeby and even moreso to a bunch of rize bags.

Thirdly, it'll be like whatching TFTF all over again. I'll literally puke looking at the waste of fibergalss and pointless performance upgrades alot of these guys do. Stickers and paintjobs that are worthy of roadsigns don't really interest me, so if I get bribed into going that weekend by a friend, the only thing I'll be looking at are the import girls.

IMO, the Markham fairgrounds are for horses, pigs, and a whole lot of sh*t. A few thousand imports will fit in just fine.

Have fun

i highly doubt you'll have anything in your car they will care to take a look at to even consider such a thing.... but that's your opinion, funny as it may be.

Hey bud....you want all show & no go, buy an import.

BTW, i like NICE CLEAN cars, not hunks of scrap with fiberglass hanging everywhere & custom made lips & bumpers & other stupidity.

Just my opinion.

The wings and schit that they have on those cars, are some of them stick on - the concept seems stupid enough that it might actually be true.

As a matter of fact, yes. Lund is doing amazing things with 3M double sided tape and SMC these days.

i particularly like the particle board gfx and spoilers... they add a nice touch in a flat or even satin color. how they get the spray can effect is just excellent.

reguardless everyone has their own interests. there is more at shows like darknights then overdone fiberglass, cheap modifications and the rest to experience. it may not be your cup of tea which is fine, move on and wait for the next classic car cruise in your area then. i wish they had events as large as this here in michigan as it would be nice. same thing goes for the dreamcruise out my way, not everyone goes for old 34 coupes or 64 ragtops but if you love cars everyone will be able to find something to appreciate. if you like it have at it, if you don't leave it be..

Yeah, he's a ****ing poet.

But he is right. I just worry about my cars and don't care what others do to what they own. It doesn't mean I won't point and laugh though

i point and laugh myself. except for when i see a nice awd 600 horse supra or a nicely built 3000gt vr4 then i go to my happy place. i appreciate all cars, makes and models... just as you can screw up a thirdgen you can do so to a honda accord. now if it were an all cavalier, neon expo i certainly wouldn't consider it but many of the performance aftermarket vendors go after the attendance. the only way i've had certain things built for my car is through various events. such things aren't for everyone, that's the way it goes.

Actually it was a serious question. I'd heard about stick on wings which seemed insane to me.

Figured this was an appropriate time to raise the matter as all the experts appear to be present in this thread..lol.

As for car shows, they just don't interest me at all whether it's imports, classics or f-bodies. That said though, I don't care what people do to their cars. All I'm really interested in is driving mine.

Because I'm waiting for GM to pull their fingers out of their holes and send me an exhaust valve to replace the bent one. Weather is supposed to be good this week - might get some miles on the pig..lol

Yep - I sure can pick em - what are the f'ucking chances of that happening. Should be OK though.

Compression was down a bit on #1. Put an air hose on it and could hear it coming out the exhaust when everything should have been closed.

You need to get to work on that new car and quit acting like such a loser on the internet. You're a **** disturber. You pull the same crap on the appearance boards. It just so happens that you'll get called on it in here instead of having your *** kissed.

It's funny, I have all the magazines that featured your car. It's a shame that somebody capable of assembling such a fine thirdgen is such a complete douche bag.

You need to look up the definition of "hypocrite". Once you've done that come back to this thread and read what you've posted. I'll send you a big gold star sticker that you can put on your fridge if you can point out what you typed that is considered "hypocritical".
