How much for a good paint job

I am looking to get my car painted (finally). It is still stock dark red (iroc) and I am looking to freshen it up. There are a few spots that need patching, but nothing too major.

Does anyone know of good paint and body shops in the Niagara Area that have a good repuation for quality work.

I am going to retain the original base clear paint with an extra coat of clear for the added depth. Also do most shops remove all the mirrors and latches prior to paint. I have seen some jobs that look bad due to overspray.

Anyone with an idea on a ball park price???

$2500 to $5000 depending on how much body work and how good you want it to be. A good paint job should remove door handles, emblems, loosen bumpers, etc

that is pretty much what I was figuring on spending. I know of a shop called creative collison that does some pretty nice work. I am sure they are a little more expensive that other shops but I would rather spend the money and have it done right - rather than cheap out and be upset with a lousy job.

My other thought was to go to United Motor Collision. I had a truch repair done there and they have painted vettes in the past with a double clear coat.

Thanks for the input
